My broad experience across the early childhood education sector has consistently sought to respect, protect, and celebrate early childhood educators. I hold high expectations of myself and view my own credibility as a central component to gain trust, build relations and inspire quality practice and provision. 

 

My professional advocacy for the unique child emerged  within a voluntary role in a hospital play therapy team over 20 years ago.  This experience powered a commitment to advocate a rights based philosophy, centralised in play and anchored in respect and inclusion for every child.

I offer a complete bespoke consultancy service across all aspects of early education. This is attributable from an immersion in practice with children, such as educator, preschool lead and area senco. Subsequent advisory, regulatory, lecturing and current teaching roles , such as the NPQ Early Years Leadership and Makaton Tutorship, have all contributed to my authentic  commitment to educators reflexivity and growth.  A commitment which understands current challenges and complexities of professional identity and is  substantiated through my postgraduate study and involvement in current research.
